WORKS IN PROGRESS
THE HOUSE THAT HUMS: A young girl endures an abusive home in a house which mirrors her mother’s unraveling (short story).
GLOOMY HEART: Collection of short stories based on interviews about recurring nightmares from the Gloomy Heart podcast.
HOUSE OF CARNIVÁL: Dreamy, queer coming‑of‑age YA novel set within a traveling carnival that drifts through the American Southwest. When Tanner—an exiled Venezuelan teen fleeing a suffocatingly religious family—stumbles into a dusty Utah town, he finds work with a mysterious carnival where misfits, drag queens, psychics, and time‑benders live as a chosen family. There he meets Dakota, a gentle animal‑whisperer born into generations of carnies, and the two boys fall into a tender, transformative love.
